James Lewis Barrickman is the son of James Barrickman and Elizabeth Barrickman (nee Snyder).

He married Rebecca McCoy. After her death he married Narcissa Springer (nee Mock).

James died in Champion Township, Trumbull County, Ohio.

James L. Barrickman, 90, a resident of Warren and vicinity for 12 years passed away at his home in Champion township this morning, death following a short illness. He was born Sept. 22, 1842 in Pennsylvania. Surviving are a son, and a brother, Henry Barrickman of Corry, Pa. The body is at Hall's funeral home. Funeral arrangement are incomplete.

Services for the late James L. Barrickman were conducted at Hall's funeral home Wednesday afternoon in charge of Rev. D. D. Palmer. Members of the Nazarene choir sang and John, Hugh, Will and John Barrickman, Jr., John Ruhl (sic: Rule) and E. H. Bock were pallbears. Interment was in Wilson cemetery.
