Mrs. Catherine Johnson, widow of the late Nathan Johnson, who has been a resident of Warren for the past four years, passed away Wednesday afternnon at 3:15 at her home at 714 West ave. Mrs. Johnson had been in ill health for nearly four years and announcement of her death is received with regret by many friends in Warren and Akron where she resided before coming to Warren. She was a woman of many capable attributes of character and had been a lifelong member of the United Brethren Church. She is survivied by a son, Charles Whitting (sic: Whiting) of Cleveland, a daughter, Mrs. A. L. Heckathorn, Corry, Pa., a sister Mrs. Susan Fritz, Petrolia, Pa., four brothers, Peter Barrickman, Dravosburg, Pa., John Barrickman, New Castle; Henry and James Barrickman of Warren. Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon with a short farewell at the home on West ave., and the public services in the United Brethren church in charge of Rev. Hopper. The body will be laid to rest in Oakwood Cemetery.
