Kalamazoo: Margaret L. BATT, 86, 817 S. Park St., died Nov. 9, 1987, at Bronson Methodist hospital, where she had been a patient for one week.
She was born June 25, 1901, in Mendon, a daughter of Milton J. and Mary K. (KLINE) HEINEY.
She had lived in Kalamazoo since her marriage. She graduated from Mendon High School in 1918. She was employed as a bookkeeper at Fidelity Savings and Loan, Kalamazoo, and at several other Kalamazoo firms.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Paul (Gloria) RIEPMA, Brooklyn: four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Forrest HEINEY.
Relatives and friends may call anytime Wednesday at the Eickhoff Funeral Home, Mendon, where the family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday. Services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home with the Rev. Raymond L. Bruce, First Baptist Church, Brooklyn, officiating. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery.
