Mrs. Ira (Lenore) Johnson, 76, 1710 Mimosa, died late Friday in a local hospital following a period of ill health.
Her funeral services will be a 2:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of the Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Gibson will officate and burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Those who wish may made memorial contribution to the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, Heart Division, with Ladusau-Evans as custodian of funds.
Mrs. Johnson was born January 21, 1896 at Hamilton, Illinois, came to Oklahoma in 1913 and settled in the Kremlin community. She and I. O. Johnson were married April 20, 1919, and lived in the Kremlin-Hunter area until moving to Enid, in 1959.
She was a member of the Davis Park Christian Church and the Mary Martha Missionary Circle. She was also a long time member of the Country Homemakers Club.
Her parents, a sister and a brother predeceased her. Survivors include her husband Ira of the home, three daughters, Mrs. Roy (Bernice) Buss of Hunter, Mrs. Chester(Velma Schultz of North Enid, and Mrs. Robert (Evelyn) DeBoard of Tulsa, three sons, Alvin of Breakinridge, Lawrence of Hunter, and Walter of Breckinridge, 18 grandchildre, and six great= grandchildren.
