"Mr. David Ross Dobbins, 67 years old of Wichita Falls, formerly of Coleman, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012 in Wichita Falls.
"David was born December 2, 1944 in Coleman to Ross and Juanita Dobbins. David loved hunting, fishing, and camping, along with talking to his friends.
"He is survived by 2 daughters and sons in law, Helen and Mike Godwin of Wichita Falls, and Amy and Thomas Doherty of Clyde, 1 son; Duane Dobbins of Coleman, 3 granddaughters; Becca Dobbins of Coleman, Amber Doherty, and Lacy Doherty both of Clyde, 1 grandson; Ted Dobbins of Coleman, 1 great granddaughter; Harley Brown of Wichita Falls, 2 sisters; Gail Downs of Granbury, and Sue Cullins of Coleman, 1 brother; Mark Dobbins of Conroe, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
"David was preceded in death by 1 brother, Bill Dobbins, 1 sister, Vickie Anderson, and 1 grandson, Gary Paul Brown. He was also preceded by former wives, Helen Stokes Dobbins, Gwen Finley Dobbins, and Ex-Wife; Annette Griffin Dobbins.
"A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, August 15, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. In the Walker Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Patrick Bennett officiating."
