JOHNSTON, S.C. - Graveside services for Mrs. Annie Lewis Eargle Dorn, age 87, will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, October 7, 2002, at Sunset Gardens Memorial Park. The family is at the home of Philip and Gayle Dorn, 1389 Columbia Road and will receive friends Sunday night from 6 to 8 p.m. at Bland Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to St. Joseph Hospice, 2260 Wrightsboro Road, Augusta, GA 30904. Mrs. Dorn, a native of Edgefield County, died Saturday, October 5, 2002. She was a daughter of the late Lonnie and Matilda Holmes Eargle, was a school teacher with Edgefield County Public Schools for 35 yeras, was a member of United Daughters of the Confederacy, a member of Johnston First Baptist Church and the Jesse Mobley Circle. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Ann Dorn and John DeLaughter, Jr.; son and daughter- in-law, Henry Philip and Gayle Dorn; grandson, John Matthew DeLaughter; granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Dorn and one half sister, Sara Lewis. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lowell "Red" Dorn.
