RAYMOND L. DYKE
Raymond L. Dyke, 61, Lone Jack in Jackson County, died Thursday at North Kansas City Memorial Hospital. He was born in Lee's Summit and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Dyke was a utility man at Armco Inc. for 35 years and was a member of its 25 Year Club. He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the New Liberty Baptist Church, Oak Grove. He leaves his wife, Mrs. Florence M. Dyke of the home; two sons, Tom Dyke, Osk Grove, and Charles Dyke, Lone Jack; a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn King, Platteville, Colo.; five brothers, James Dyke and Otis Dyke of Lee's Summit, Tom Dyke, Liberty, Harry Dyke, Pleasant Hill, Mo., and Joe Dyke, Fawcett, Mo.; six sisters, Miss Martha Ann Dyke and Miss Flo Dyke of Lee's Summit, Mrs. Carol Cleveland and Mrs. Sarah Wendel of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Dorothy Batman, Luray, Va., and Mrs. Mary Beall, Fountain Valley, Calif.; and six grandchildren. Services will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Royer Chapel, Oak Grove; burial in Sni Mills Cemetery, near Oak Grove. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the chapel. The family requests no flowers and suggests contributions to the church memorial fund.
