LILLIAN B. SIMMER

Mrs. Lillian Simmer, 84, formerly of 426 N. 10th St., Manitowoc, died Sunday
evening at Family Heritage Home, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 1030 a.m. Tuesday at Schneider-Mittnacht Funeral
Home, Manitowoc. The Rev. Gervase Zanotti will officiate with burial in
Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mrs. Simmer, nee Lillian Svacina, was born Jan. 15, 1891, at Manitowoc, daughter
of the late Anton J. and Victoria Krejcie Svacina. She was educated in Manitowoc
schools. She was married to William P. Simmer Sept. 3, 1915, at Manitowoc. He
preceded her in death in August of 1944.
Survivors include a son, William J. of Manitowoc, and two grandchildren, David
Simmer, of Manitowoc and Mrs. Raymond (Sharon) Moore, of San Diego, Calif. A
brother, Louis, and a sister, Florence Handl, preceded her in death.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.

Simmers-Svacina Marriage
Miss Lillian Svacina and Mr. William Simmers were united in wedlock last Thursday.
The ceremony was performed at the home of the bride's mother, Mrs. Victoria Svacina,
by Judge Chloupek. This is the second marriage in the family within two weeks, the
bride's sister, Florence having married Roland Handl. Mr. and Mrs. Simmers are
spending their honeymoon in Chicago.
