Mr. Alvin H. Rein, 81, of 1038 N. 14th St., Manitowoc, died Friday, Nov. 4, at the North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
Cremation will have taken place and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Manitowoc.
Mr. Rein was born May 25, 1902, in Manitowoc County, son of the late Robert and Mina Klessig Rein. He married Mary Skala on Sept. 22, 1923, at Manitowoc. The couple resided in Manitowoc. Mr. Rein was employed with Medusa Cement Plant as a crane operator.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; two sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Mary Rein of Manitowoc and Arnold and Jean Rein of Menasha, a brother, Harry Rein of Waukesha, Wis., six grandchildren and two great grandchildren, -g (sic) cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by several brothers and three sisters.
Jens Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to North Ridge Care Center, Manitowoc.
