FRANK CROLL PASSES AWAY
Retired Sheet Metal Worker Dies At Home Friday

Frank M. Croll, 75, retired sheet metal worker, died Friday at the home, 847
North 15th street. He had been in failing health for several years. Funeral
services will be held Monday at 1:30 p.m. from the home (photo) and at two
o'clock from the Immanuel Ev. Lutheran church. Burial will be in Evergreen
cemetery.

Came To City in 1880
Mr. Croll was born in West Granville, Wis., in 1861. He came to this city in
1880 and learned the sheet metal trade. Except for brief periods when he was
located at Mishicot, Sheboygan, and Marion, Wis., he made this city his home.
For a number of years he was employed at the Kerscher company here. He retired
in 19??.

Mr. Croll married Miss Amelia Abel in 1884. Mr. and Mrs. Croll observed their
golden wedding anniversary at the home in 1934.

Widow Survives
Surviving are the widow; two daughters, Mrs. William Schoening, Sheboygan, and
Della, city; two sons, Arnold, city, and the Rev. Melvin Croll, Florence, Wis.

The body was removed to the home this afternoon from the Wattawa, Urbaneka and
Schlei funeral home.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Frank Croll, 75, who died Friday
at the family home, 827 North Fifteenth street, after an illness of several
years. He was a sheet metal worker and for a number of years was employed by the
Kerscher company. Survivors are the widow, two daughters and two sons.
