Mrs. Ambrose was born on June 10, 1925 in Ruston, LA and died on August 10, 2012 in Baton Rouge, LA. During World War II, Annie worked for the Boeing Company in Washington, at which time she was one of the original "Rosie Riveters". She is preceded in death by her husband C.M. Ambrose.
Mrs. Ambrose is survived by her two daughters: Diann Edwards and husband Robert of Highland Village, TX; Jane Swain and husband Rick of Prairieville, LA; grandchildren: Kristine Manard and husband Travis; Matt Swain and wife Krystal; great grandchildren: Pierce DeLaughter, Jude Menard, Cohen Swain, Mason Swain; and other family and close friends.
Visitation will be 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. Sunday, August 12, 2012 at Kilpatrick Funeral Home in Ruston.
