Frank McKay, 87, Golden Age Home, died Sunday morning at St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born June 24, 1893 in the Town of Goetz, the son of Edward McKay and Margaret St. Martin. He grew up there and married Florence McGrath Nov. 25, 1914 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Cadott.
He farmed in the Town of Goetz and was also a carpenter for several years. He had been a resident of the Golden Age Home for the last three years. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, a daughter, a son and a grandson.
Surviving are a son Reginald, Chippewa Falls; four daughters, Mrs. Shirlie Lisuzzo, Franklin Park, Ill., Mrs. Louie (Margaret) Havens, Santa Cruz, Calif., Mrs. Norman (Gene) Willkom, Cadott and Mrs. Thomas (Eileen) Anderson, Chippewa Falls; 25 grandchildren; and 32 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerome Gerum officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Leiser Funeral Home, Cadott, from 2-9 p.m. Tuesday with a rosary to be recited there at 8.
