Mrs I F Maynard, 85, resident of Rt 10, Crossville, died at the Cumberland Medical Center Wednesday, August 17, 1977 at 3:30 a.m. She had been a resident of the Woody community for the past 59 years and a resident of Tennessee all her life. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist church.
Mrs Maynard was born March 12, 1892, the daughter of Philander and Mary Ellen Allen Hawkins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Maynard.
Survivors include 7 sons: Ross, J D, Cleo, Allen, James, Harold and Austin Maynard; 3 daughters, Juanita Belk, Shellie York and Louise Robinson; 1 brother, Allen Hawkins; 3 sisters, Lassie, Othel and Prilla.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 p.m. at Bilbrey Funeral Home with Bro J W Doss officiating; burial will be in Green Acres Memory Gardens.
