Mrs. Kate Bowles widow of the late John T. Bowles had a stroke of apoplexy about eight o'clock Wednesday evening and died at 4 a. m. Friday. She never regained consciousness after being stricken, but she had been in her usual state of health and had just eaten a hearty supper that evening. Rev. Hedges, her former pastor conducted the funeral services at the residence at 10 a. m. Saturday. Another good woman his gone to her reward.—I.O. U.
