Obit - MRS. THOMAS LECLAIR, Mrs. Thomas Leclair, who had beenin ill health and suffered patiently several years, diedThursday morning at 4 a.m., Nov. 6th, 1930 at the home of herdaughter, Mrs. George Miller at 239 Margaret Street,Plattsburgh, while visiting there. Mrs. Leclair was a life longresident of Churubusco and was always a home loving mother. Shewas 62 years of age and had spent 48 years of happy wedded lifeaid was blessed with a family of seventeen children, ten ofthese are now living. She leaves to mourn her loss her husband,Thomas Leclair, six daughters, Mrs. Elmer Robare, of Rochester,Mrs. William Root, Mrs. Xelia Richey, of Massena, Mrs. GeorgeMiller of Plattsburgh, Mrs. Arthur Tbibeault of Churubusco, Mrs.John Beaulieu, of Syracuse, another daughter, Mrs. Paul Richeyof Bangor, died recently, four sons, Thomas Jr., Peter andGeorge Leclair of Churubusco, Albert Leclair of Plattsburgh;three brothers, Julius, Peter and Joseph Poupore, of Churubusco,and one sister, Mrs. Thomas Trombly, of St. Albans, Vt., andthirty eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Thefuneral took place at St. Philomena's church and interment inthe church cemetery. The officiating priest was the Rev.Alexander P. Landry, pastor, assisted by Rev. Father Lynch. Thepallbearers were Julius Poupore, Peter Poupore, Joseph Poupore,Alexander Leclair, Wilfred Leclair, Julius Miller.
