Martha graduated from Scott Center High School in 1931. On September 14, 1932, she married Max D. Huss. Martha and Max had children: Glen Otis, Gladys Mae, and Leon D. She lived her entire life on a farm, just south of Angola, moving there in 1935. She was a sponsor for the Rural Youth Of Steuben County and a member of the Alpha Farmers Club. She liked to entertain foreign exchange students from Tri-State College.
Martha is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, one daughter-in-law, ten grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and two step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Max; and two sons, Glen and Leon.
