Mr. Alfred Fox, 76, of New Market, MD passed away Monday, August 6, 2012 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Jane Fox.Born April 20, 1936 in Allenstein, Germany he was the son of the late John and Erika Tonat Fox.Mr. Fox proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1960- 1972. Alfred worked as an Electronic Technician for the Naval Photo Lab. He was an avid golfer and also enjoyed racing cars and motorcycles in his younger days. Alfred also enjoyed bowling and horses.In addition to his wife he is survived by his children Stephanie Frensilli and hus- band John of Ijamsville and Michelle Barthlow and husband Christopher of Martinsburg, WV; grandchildren Nicholas, Alexa, Jake and Zachary Frensilli and Sarah Jane Barthlow. He will also be missed by his dog Gideon.The family will receive friends at the Stauffer Funeral Home, 1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick on Friday, August 10, 2012 from 2-3 PM where a memorial service will begin at 3 PM.Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Prostate Cancer Foundation 1250 Fourth Street Santa Monica, CA 90401 (Please make checks payable to Prostate Cancer Foundation.)Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.staufferfuneralhome.com
