Mrs. Dorothy B. Mitchell, 87, of McAdams passed away August 4, 2012.
Services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at McAdams Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5- 8 pm Tuesday at Culpepper Funeral Home in Kosciusko and after 10 am Wednesday at the Church. Rev. James Young and Rev. Steve Wilson will officiate the services. Mrs. Mitchell was a member of McAdams Baptist Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star Rob Morris Chapter 134 and past Worthy Matron. She was retired from Bellsouth, Superior Coach, Mitchell's Grocery and Southern Security Insurance.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Earl B. Mitchell, Sr.; parents John T. & Jessie Burrell. She is survived by daughter, Barbara (John) Ellington of Crab Orchard, TN; son, Earl B. (Sara) Mitchell, Jr. of Brandon; sister Pat Collins of Memphis, TN; brother, Bob Burrell of Goodman; grandchildren Heather (Tony) Grippando, Simeon Mitchell and John (Lynn) Ellington, Jr.; great grandchildren Garrett, Jessie & Catie.
