She graduated from the Larrabee high school in the spring of 1927 and attended Morningside college a year and a half until ill health forced her to give it up. While there, she was a member of the Athenaeum society.
She has been a member of the Methodist church since early childhood. She leaves to mourn her death Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Gilbert, two sisters, and two brothers, Miss Addie Gilbert, Mrs. Raymond Gregg, Owen Gilbert and Elmer Gilbert.
