Hanson and Bengta Olsson, she was born one
full day before her twin sister Ellen she
attended a small country school, one year
out of seven school children four of them
was Hanson's her childhood was a mixture
of fun and hard work, she met Theodore
Silseth and they were married March 12,
1923 in Minneapolis Minnesota they made
their home in Rutland, North Dakota,4
children were born to them, all boys.
After a long illness she lost her husband
April 16,1941. In 1951 she moved to St Paul
Minnesota leaving 2 of her son's in Rutland
to hold the fort down she worked as a
practical nurse until she retired in 1965
she moved to Minot North Dakota to be
near one of her son's. A few years later
she returned to St Paul where she lived
until her death on January 25,1996 she
was 96 years old.
