Funeral services were held for Mrs. Richard Dykstra Monday afternoon at 1:30 at the Vander Ploeg Funeral home and at 2 o'clock at the First Reformed church of Rock Valley with Rev. A.A. Dykstra officiating. Burial was in Valley View cemetery at Rock Valley.
Mrs. Dykstra died Friday morning at the Sioux Center hospital after suffering a stroke about ten days before.
She was born on May 24, 1886, at Sioux Center.
Survivors include the widower, two daughters, Mrs. Clarence Mulder of Rock Valley, Mrs. William B. Kooiker of Orange City; two sons, William and John, both of Rock Valley; five sisters, Mrs. Gerrit Jongerius of Rock Rapids, Mrs. Al De Free, Mrs. Henry Wissink, Mrs. Henry Huitink and Mrs. Pleun De Zeeuw, all of Sioux Center; one brother, Al Van Putten, of Montevideo, Minn., and 18 grandchildren.
