Brillion – Mrs. Theodore Franzke, 77, died Thursday afternoon at her home in Brillion after a lingering illness.

Mrs. Franzke was born in 1877 in Germany, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wink. She came to this country with her parents in 1888. She was married to Mr. Franzke in 1897 and the couple lived on a farm in the town of Brillion before moving to the city 10 years ago.
She was a member of the Evangelical United Brethern church in Brillion and the Women’s Society of World Service of the church.

Funeral services were held at the church. The Rev. Kenneth Knoespel officiated. Burial was in the Forest Home cemetery at Forest Jct.

She is survived by her husband, a son Edwin of Appleton; a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Bratz of Brillion; seven brothers, Philip of Marshfield, Charles of Tustin; Henry of Pickett, and Herman, Emil, John and Adolph, all of Forest Junction; a sister, Mrs. Caroline Keller of Forest Junction; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
