Mrs. George Filyes, 95, of Brillion, died Wednesday at her daughter’s home in Neenah. Funeral services will be Sunday in Wieting Funeral Home, Brillion, and burial will be in Forest Home Cemetery, Forest Junction.
Mrs. Filyes, nee Hattie Kloehn, was born Jan. 9, 1882, in the town of Brillion. She was married to George Filyes Dec. 14, 1911, at Forest Junction. Mrs. Filyes was a member of Brillion Faith United Methodist church.
Survivors include a son, Lawrence of Brillion, a daughter, Mrs. Edward J. (Harriet) Schultz of Neenah and two grandchildren, Paul Filyes of Brillion and Don Schultz of Oconomowoc.
