Emma J. "Jeanie" Kuhn, 88, of Chillicothe, died at 4:03 a.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Heartland of Chillicothe following an extended illness.
She was born February 3, 1928, in Ross County to the late William J. and Dorothy Rheinfrank Cox. On December 5, 1946, she married Alfred E. Kuhn who died December 29, 1988.
Surviving are sons Garry (Sandra) Kuhn, of Kingston and William E. (Pamela) Kuhn, of Chillicothe; four grandchildren including, Shawna Lea (Brian) Bivins, Jody Renee (Ryan) Marcum and Danielle Renee (Justin) Holbert; a sister, Marie Clark, of Chillicothe; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by an infant son, Freddie Lee Kuhn; brothers, Earl Raymond Cox, Kenneth Brown, Wilby Cox, Andrew Cox and infant brother, Willie Cox; sisters, Ann Ault and Mary Schrake.
Emma was a member of Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ in Christian Union.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2016 at Ware Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Minton officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday.
