Thomas, W. Va. - Ray Moreland Pennington, 31, of Coketon, near here, was found dead Wednesday at his home from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Born February 22, 1941, in Mackeyville, W. Va., he was the son of Boyd Pennington, Coketon, and Eula (Arbogast) Pennington, Jacksonville, Fla.

Also surviving are his widow, Corine (Gatto) Pennington; four brothers, Mervin Pennington, Lewisburg, W. Va.; Clifford Pennington, Coketon, and Lewis and Joseph Pennington, both of Jacksonville, Fla., and five sisters, Mrs. Lovenia Neal and Mrs. Lucressa Carr, both of Baltimore, and Misses Luvina, Kathryn and Shirley Pennington, all of Jacksonville.

The body is at the Duncan Funeral Home where a service will be conducted today at 11 a.m.

Rev. W. D. Lively will officiate.

Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
