OBITUARY: Harry Thomas "Dick" Wilson, Jr., 81, died Friday, December 20, 1991, in the Pioneer Care Center in Brigham City of causes incident to age. He was born Feb. 9, 1910 in Logan, a son of Harry Thomas, Sr. and Mable Carrie Williams Wilson. He married Carrie Brenchley Thorpe, Feb. 14, 1929 in Wellsville. The marriage was solemnized, May 19, 1972, in the Logan LDS Temple. Mr. Wilson was reared and educated in Logan and lived in Logan and Hyrum until his retirement. He loved fly fishing, especially in Blacksmith Fork Canyon. He was a High Priest in the Tremonton 5th LDS Ward where he served as a Home Teacher. He had been secretary of the High Priest Quorum, and he and his wife, served a mission to the New York Manhattan Mission. Surviving are his wife of Tremonton, three daughters and one son and their spouses: Dixie and Dee Ramsdell, Bear River City; Tom and Shirley Wilson, Norwalk, Calif.; Shirlee and Frank Blum, Tremonton; Vickie and Bill Baker, Roy; 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, one sister, Edris Frank, Melpedis, Calif. He was preceded in death by one grandson, Scott Ramsdell, and two sisters. Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 23, at the Tremonton 2nd and 5th Ward Chapel, with Bishop Dale W. Christiansen officiating. Burial in the Logan City Cemetery. Arrangements by Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home.
