Son of Jacob and Eva (Dvořák) Zwiefelhofer.

Albert was baptized April 8, 1866, in Tisch, Bohemia n/k/a Ktiš, Chrobely Parish, Prachatice District, South Bohemia, Czech Republic

He was registered for 1st grade as 'Albert Dvorak'. According to that report card, he was born in Záhoří, České Budějovice.

He was "legitimized" by the Catholic Church in Ktiš by his parents, Jakob Zwiefelhofer and Eva Dvořák, in 1881.

He came to America with his older brother Matthias (Math) via Bremen, Germany aboard the S.S. Strassburg. They arrived at the port of Baltimore May 26, 1883.

At age 33 paid for young lady and her family from his home town in Bohemia to come to America. Maria Traxler arrived at the Port of New York on November 17, 1899.

They were married January 9, 1900, at St. Peter's Catholic Church, in Tilden, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.

They built a farm and raised 13 children in Howard Township, Chippewa County, Wisconsin.

He was the father of Rose, Mary, Joseph, John, Louis, Anne, Theresa, Robert, Leona, Frank, Henry, Herbert and Bernard.

Albert was 5'10" tall, weighed 158 pounds, with black hair and blue eyes.
