Daughter of James & Sarah Bledsoe Livesay, who migrated into Rockcastle Co., Ky. from Virginia in the late 1850's. Mother of Sally 1876, Francis (Fannie) Livesay Simpson 1878-1917), Ida Mae Livesay Hysinger (1882-1966), and William Edgar Livesay (1886-1954). The exact date of death is unknown, but between 1886-1898. She was NOT married to Walter B. Smith, but he was the father of her children per the 1880 Census.
