Mary Jane Livesay was born in Rockcastle County, Kentucky to James and Sarah (Bledsoe) Livesay. On Dec 5, 1873 she married Lee Tyre McPherson in Mount Vernon, Rockcastle Co., Kentucky. This marriage produced 12 Children:

Mary Jane passed away in Rogersville, Webster County, Missouri and was laid to rest in Maple Park Cemetery in Springfield, Missouri Nov. 1, 1928. It was always the wish of my Grandmother "Gertie" that she could be placed with husband L.T. someday.
