Eva Teeples Radford, 89, of Idaho Falls died Friday at an Idaho Falls hospital from a lingering illness.

She was born December 10, 1886, at Holden, Utah, the daughter of Henry and Ann Savage Teeples. She attended school at Holden.

She married John Edward Radford April 6, 1905, at Blackfoot. The marriage was later solemnized at the Logan, Utah Temple.

Mrs. Radford was a housewife and active in LDS Church activities. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and handwork.

She was preceded in death by her husband who died January 13, 1958; three sons, Karrel, Carl and Dallas and one daughter Estella.

She is survived by two sons, Loren and Blain Radford, both of Labelle; two daughters, Mrs. Lynn (Verda) Richards, Idaho Falls and Mrs. Dean (Theola) McCafferty, of Ucon; 38 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Eckersell Funeral Home with the Bishop Joseph Bell officiating. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:30 to 9 p.m. and for one hour prior to services at Eckersell Memorial Chapel. Friends may also call at the chapel from noon to 9 p.m. July 4 and 5.

Interment will be in the Ririe Cemetery.

IDAHO FALLS FIRE DEPARTMENT

A vacant building at 195 College burned to the ground Monday at about 2 p.m., but firemen listed the building at no value. Cause of fire was children playing with matches. A spark from the fire started a spot fire on the roof of the home of Eva Radford, 194 Whitier, damaging it $35.

She married John Edward "Ted" Radford on April 6, 1905 in Blackfoot, Bingham County, Idaho. To this union were born eight children.
