Services to Be Held For Claude McKinney: PERU - -Final rites will be held at the McCain funeral home at 2 p.m. Thursday for Claude Omer McKinney, 68, a barber at Denver, after living there for 15 years. McKinney, formerly of Peru, died at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Wabash county hospital at Wabash after a four year illness., He was a veteran of World War I, a member of the Moose lodge at Wabash, a member of the Denver Methodist church and World War I Veterans of Peru. He was born March 3, 1895 at Shelbyville to Robert and Rosa Golding McKinney. He married Carrie Kunzi in 1937 and she survives. Survivors besides the wife are three sisters, Mrs. Josephine Chester, rural route 2, Peru; Mrs. Annabelle Stover, rural route 1, Macy and Mrs. Alice Herron, Wapakoneta of Ohio. Rev. Douglas Davies will officiate the services and burial will be in Westlawn cemetery at Denver. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Wednesday.
