--Josephine Florence Chester, 84, Denver, died Saturday, Oct. 22, 1983, at her residence.
--She was born in Greentown on March 3, 1899, to Robert and Rosa Golding McKinney. She married Walter Lotz in 1919 and he died in 1921. She then married Sela Chester on Feb. 25, 1925, in Hammond. He died May 3, 1962.
--Mrs. Chester was a member of the Center Chapel First Brethren Church and the Richland Homebuilders EHC. She had lived in Denver for 18 years.
--Surviving are one son, Paul Chester, Denver; one daughter, Marilyn Click, Rt. 3; one sister, Annabelle Stover, Macy; 16 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. One son, two daughters, one sister and four brothers are deceased.
--Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Grandstaff Funeral Home, Roann, with the Rev. Mary Kendzora officiating. Burial will be in Chili Cemetery.
