MONTICELLO--Graveside services for Jackson Y. Crowder, 66, of Buffalo, will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at Indian Creek Cemetery, near Headlee.

He died at 8:50 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, 2000, in Heritage Healthcare Center, West Lafayette.

Born Dec. 19, 1933, in Buffalo, he was the son of Byno D. and Elanora Vanscoy Crowder.

A 1951 graduate of Buffalo High School, he lived in Buffalo all of his life and was ill for the past two years. He was a carpenter and stone mason.

Mr. Crowder was a member of the Monon Moose Lodge.

Surviving are two sons, Jason and Beth Crowder, and Brad Crowder, all of Monticello; two daughters, Renee and Kevin Kilbane, Fort Wayne, and Jaci and Randy Lane, West Lafayette; one sister, Dorothy Remley, Lucerne and nine grandchildren.

One brother Robert Crowder and one sister Pauline Shields preceded in death.

Frank Hicks will officiate services.

Friends may call from 4 to 6 p.m. today at Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the DNR Division of Fish and Wildlife.
