B.D. CROWDER DIES IN WHITE

WINAMAC--Byno Delbert Crowder, 74, of Rt. 4, Monticello, a retired farmer, died at 11:25 p.m. Saturday at White County Memorial Hospital.

He was born at Headlee, Oct. 16, 1894, the son of Jackson and Olive Mallott Crowder. His first marriage, Sept. 15, 1915, was to Elnora Vanscoyk, who died Aug. 31, 1960. His second marriage Aug. 27, 1963, was to Mrs. Fleeta Woods, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Jackson and Robert Joe, both of Monticello; two daughters, Mrs. Pauline Shields, Plymouth, and Mrs. Dorothy Remley, of Lucerne; four step-children, Mrs. Cathern Sorrick, of Gary; Mrs. Marie Swanson, of Portage; Erwin Woods, Wilton Manor, Fla.; and William Woods, Hobart; a sister, Mrs. Inez Hall, Winamac; 10 grandchildren, 12 step-grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Fry and Lange Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Kraft officiating. Burial will be in Pro Cemetery at Indian Creek. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. Monday.
