[Click on photos at right to display larger image.] My guess is that Eliza is the daughter of George H. Cann and Mary A. Cann, and the sister of G. Edwin Cann and John H. Cann. I will need to check Census records to see if these relationships are valid, and how they can be sorted out. It is also my guess that since her stone seems to be all by itself in the left front corner of the Cann plots, she never married. In checking the Baltimore City Directory for 1890 (Available on Ancestry.com) we find that her address is listed as 1201 Ensor St., and that her occupation was as a dressmaker. I've recently come in contact with another Cann relative, who has furnished photos which I will now attach here. She writes, "Here are a couple of photos of Eliza J. Cann. She was the daughter of George Henry Cann and sister of John Henry Cann. Eliza was born Jan. 1, 1854, in England (the family came to the U.S. later that year). She died in 1910 and is buried at Green Mount (as you know). According to the 1890 Baltimore City directory, she was a dressmaker and was living at 1201 Ensor Street." I will add more info. if it can be located.
