Isaac P. Chambers died in his home, 511 North Sixteenth Street, early Saturday morning. He had been a resident of Decatur for 10 years. He was born in Cerro Gordo on March 14, 1858 and married Nora Wells on October 27, 1881 in Penfield. He leaves his wife and two children: Charles O. Chambers of Cerro Gordo, and Carrie A. Cook of Decatur.
He also leaves two sisters, Marth E. Grason, Cerro Gordo, and Margaret C. Anderson of Atlantic, IA.
He was a member of the Presbyterian church and the Modern Woodmen in Cerro Gordo. The body was taken to the Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home and will reamin there until further arrnagements are made.
