Russell Bogan Died Monday;
Services Today


Russell O. Bogan, 64, of Clarksville, died at 1:15 p.m. Monday at his residence of a heart ailment. He had been in failing health for the past two years and was seriously ill for three weeks prior to his death.
Born December 25, 1894 at Clarksville, he was the son of Sanford and Alice Gray Bogan. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Andrew of Wilmington and Mrs. Kathleen Shepherd of New Burlington; one brother, Darrell Bogan of Clarksville; four nieces and eight nephews.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. this afternoon, Thursday at the Clarksville Methodist Church. Remains will lie in state at the church from 12:30 p.m. to time for the funeral. The Rev. Joe Henson will officiate at the services.
Burial by the Hannah Funeral Home will be in Clarksville cemetery.

RUSSELL O. BOGAN -- Services for Russell O. Bogan, who died Monday, were held Thursday afternoon at Clarksville Methodist Church. The Rev. Joe E. Henson was the minister and also sang "In the Garden" and "Beyond the Sunset." Mrs. Henson was pianist.
Pallbearers were Dennis, Franklin and William Bogan, Robert and Dean Andrew and Harry McVey. Burial, by Hannah Funeral Home, Blanchester, was in Clarksville Cemetery.
