Lingering Illness Is Fatal To Clarksville Resident
In failing health for two years, Santford Bogan, 80, a retired farmer and life-long resident of the Clarksville community, died Wednesday at 10:30 P. M. at his home two miles north of Clarksville. Death was caused by complications.
Born near Clarksville March 1, 1856, he spent his entire life in that section and was actively engaged in farming until failing health forced him to retire.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Harriett Bogan; two sons, Darrell and Russell, at home; and two daughters, Mrs. Charles Andrews of near Wilmington, and Mrs. Frank Shephard, of Lebanon.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2 P. M. in the Clarksville M. E. Church, with Rev. F. H. Russell in charge. Interment by A. L. Hannah will be in the Clarksville I.O.O.F. cemetery.

Services To Be Conducted At Clarksville
Funeral services for Santford Bogan, 80, retired farmer who died at his home near Clarksville Wednesday morning following a long illness, will be conducted Saturday at 2 P. M. in the Clarksville M. E. Church with Rev. F. H. Russell in charge. Interment will be at the Clarksville I.O.O.F. Cemetery. The body will be at the Hannah Funeral Home, Wilmington, from 10 A. M. Friday until 8:30 A. M. Saturday when it will be returned to the residence.
