Frank E. Adams, 86
Dies Saturday

Frank Edward Adams, 86, a retired barber and jeweler at Boxholm, died Saturday evening, May 1, at the Dayton Care Center, Dayton, Iowa.

Mr. Adams attended the Old Highland Park College of Music in Des Moines. He was a member of the Dayton Masonic Lodge and served as Sunday School Superintendent for a number of years at the Methodist Church at Boxholm.

Survivors include his widow, Delia of Dayton; 2 sons, Don Adams of Rockwell City, and Carroll Adams of Lincoln, Neb.; 2 daughters, Mrs. Arthur England and Mrs. John Tirpack, both of Plainesville, Ohio; 7 grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Belva Carlson of Boone.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Esther in 1931.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 4, at 1:30 p.m. at the Methodist Church at Boxholm with the Rev. Fred Rawley in charge. Burial will be at the Lawn Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Carson Funeral Home in Dayton. The casket will be taken to the church Tuesday noon, and will be closed during and after the services.
