He is listed on the 1900 census as Floyd. (Perhaps Clyde was his middle name?)

Note--memorial service occurred in January 1904 as follows:
Boone County Democrat January 29, 1904
Floyd Adamson was born April 10, 1899, and died October 27, 1903, aged 4 years and 6 months. The circumstances attending little Floyd's death were peculiarly sad. Several of the other members of the family were sick at the same time and the family was quarantined and no friends or loved ones were allowed to attend the sick and the parents, brothers or sisters were not allowed to follow the remains of the departed one to their last resting place. Memorial services were held January 24th, 1904 at the Methodist Episcopal Church in Pilot Mound, conducted by Rev. E.B. Scoggan. A large congregation of relatives, friends and neighbors assembled at the service as a mark of sympathy for the bereaved family.
