Loch L. Angevine, 85, of Cambridge died at Good Samaritan Center, Geneseo, Wednesday morning, November 6. He was born July 3, 1889, in Alpha, Illinois the son of Harry and Mae Seaver Angevine. He moved to Cambridge with his parents in 1903 where his father operated a furniture and funeral home. A 1908 graduate of Cambridge high school, . Mr. Angevine attended Iowa State University of Agriculture at Ames. On October 29, 1913, he married Florence Hornecker in her parents' home in Osco Township. They farmed in Osco Township for 28 years, retiring in 1943, and moved to Cambridge. Mr. Angevine was a former chairman of Henry County Association for 15 years and was a past master of Cambridge Masonic Lodge of which he was a 50-year member. He was also a member of the Moline Consistory and Osco Community church. He also helped organize the Osco Hustler 4-H club. Surviving are his wife; two sons, Martin of Geneseo and Lyall of Atlanta, Georgia; six granchildren and one great-grandson. Memorials may be made to heart fund and left at Myers funeral home. The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday, November 8, at Myers funeral home with Rev. John Hedlund, pastor of Osco Community church, officiating. Mrs. Marvin Lund will be organist. Pallbearers will be Leslie Sanquist, Earl Jehling, Rodger Hultgren, Jack Mahlstedt, Harry Angevine, and Howard Ford. Honorary pallbearers will be Vern Sassen, Frank Gustafson, Herbert Samuelson, Ben Frels, Reben Rosenstone, Earl Collis Sr., and Mahlon Smith. Burial will be in Morristown cemetery.
