ARTHUR J. BOUTIN
Arthur J. Boutin Sr., 75, of North Main Street, Winsted, Conn., formerly of Bennington, died Dec 23 at Simsbury Convalescent Home. He left a number of relatives in the area.
He was born in Bennington, but had lived in Winsted for more than 50 years, moving o Winsted from New Hartford.
He was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church in New Hartford. He worked in the maintenance department of the former Winsted Hosiery Co. until his retirement in 1961.
Besides his wife, the former Claudia Pelletier, he is survived by one son, Arthur Boutin of New Hartford, Conn.; four daughters, Mrs. Blanche LaCroix of Bennington, Mrs. Agnes Carvalho of Fall River, Mass., Mrs. Alice Kochera of Canton and Mrs. Edna Skinner of Middletown, N.Y.; two brothers, Henry Boutin and Adjutor Boutin, both of Bennington; two sisters, Mrs. Exella Harris of Shaftsbury and Mrs. Lena Clifford of Cohoes, N.Y.; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Dec 28 at the John J. Shea Funeral Home, Steel Road, New Hartford and in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Collinsville, Conn.
