Died Saturday, December 2, 1989 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He was 69 and a life-long resident of Covington. He was former administrator of St. Tammany Parish Hospital. Visiting at Schoen Funeral Home, Covington, 6 to 9 PM Sunday and after 10 AM until services at 1 PM on Monday. Buried in Covington Cemetery No. 1. Survived by wife, Audrey Lions Alexius, Covington, and four sons, Paul Haller Alexius, Sr., Covington, Jay Clement Alexius, Sr., Lafayette, Lee Stephen Alexius, Sr., Covington, and Bruce Joseph Alexius, Baton Rouge, a sister Mrs. L.A. (Caroline) Hebert, Covington, and three daughters-in-law, Kathy Jenkins Alexius, Covington, Margaret Greiner Alexius, Baton Rouge, and Debbie Louviere Alexius, Lafayette. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, Jay, Jr., Caroline, Jennifer, Stacey, Sarah, Adrienne, Paul Haller, Jr., Stephanie, Danton, Stephen, Patrick and Blake. Preceded in death by parents Gertrude Haller and Alfred P. Alexius. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of St. Tammany or Christ Episcopal Church in Covington.
