He was raised in the Whitaker State Home in Pryor OK., and attended Bakens School in Okmulgee, OK., and lived in Wichita Falls, TX., and Oklahoma City before moving to Hennessey in 1974.
Clayton worked in lawn care for many years.
He is survived by three brothers, Luther Gibson, Charles Alfred Gibson Jr.and Howard Gibson; one sister, Judy Murray; and one great aunt, Mary Ella Stanley.
Clayton was preceded by his parents; one brother and two sisters.
