Frank Weakley is the son of Charles Weakley and Emma Woodward. He was born on April 16, 1862 (Note: the date of birth on the headstone is 1867, but we have records that support the 1862 date as well) in Worle, Somersetshire, England. Frank married Catherine T. Stanislaus Holmes on November 14, 1895 in Monal Creek, Australia. Catherine, Frank's wife, was born in Ireland. Frank and Catherine had two children Frances Mary Weakley (b. 1896)and Vincent Joseph Weakley (b. 1899) born while they lived in Australia and once they moved to Providence, Rhode Island they had four more children, Charles Archer, Florence, Francis Stanislaus, and Edward Albert. We believe that Frank went to Australia to work in one of his older brother John's gold mines. It seems that Frank found some gold because when he and Catherine moved to Providence, they purchased three homes. Frank Weakley became an American Citizen on April 6, 1918. He died on July 1, 1935 and is buried in Saint Ann's Cemetery in Cranston, Rhode Island.
