The former Goldie Colden was born at Wisconsin Dells on Nov. 21, 1896, a daughter of Louis and Anne Severson Colden. On Feb. 3, 1927, she was married to Howard Thompson. They had farmed in this area most of their married life.
Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Trinity Lutheran church, of which she was a member. Rev. William White officiated and burial was in Graceland Cemetery.
Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Neal (Amy) Massey, Hollandale; a son, Homer, Janesville; a sister, Mrs. William Hill, Garden Grove, Calif; three brothers, Garfield and Floyd, Blanchardville; and Lloyd, Darlington, and four grandchildren.
Saether Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
