William Sierck is shown in his 1918 WWI draft registration as a sheep shearer in Hopland, California. Through 1940, other census' show him farming and ranching in that area, but his last residence in 1970 was the county seat of Ukiah, Mendocino County, California. He wed Rose Mary (Wetzler) Myers in 1924. She had a son, Harold William Myers, from a former marriage born 1901, in Oakland, California. As the years passed, Harold was often shown as William's son. William passed away at 85 years of age in Humboldt County.
