Mrs. Maude R. Edgerton, age 88, of Mansfield, died Thursday, November 12, 1970 at the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. Funeral services were held at the St. James Episcopal Church, Mansfield, Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. George E. Booth officiated. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield. Memorial gifts may be made to the St. James Episcopal Church Memorial Fund.
Survived by daughter-in-law, Mrs. Ellsworth E. Edgerton of Elmira; grandsons, Walter E. Edgerton, Jr., of Elmira, John D. Edgerton of Pottstown, Pa., James E. Edgerton of Mansfield; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Edgerton was a member of the St. James Episcopal Church.
