Survived by wife, Mrs. Sarah Stevens Edgerton; parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. R. Edgerton with whom he was associated in business; sons, Walter Jr. of Elmira, John David and James Edward of Mansfield.
Body is at Shaw & Robena Funeral Home, Mansfield, where friends are invited to call. Prayer service there Friday at 1:30 p.m. followed by funeral service at 2 at St. James Church, the Rev. Daniel J. Stover assisted by the Rev. David Griffiths. Oakwood Cemetery, Mansfield. Masonic service will be conducted Thursday night at 8 at the funeral home. Please omit flowers.
