Mrs. Ida Sommer, wife of Gustav Summer, passed away at St. Nicholas hospital at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday after a lingering illness.
Deceased was born in Town Mosel September 25, 1870, and was united in marriage to Gustav Sommer in 1890. The couple settled on a farm in the town of Mosel and lived there until six years ago, when they moved to this city and took up their residence at 930 Superior Avenue.
Mrs. Sommer is survived by her bereaved husband, one daughter, Mrs. Oscar Voechting of this city; one son, George, of this city: two sisters, Mrs. Gottlieb Gosse of Town Mosel and Mrs. Otto Wunsch of Town Mosel; and three grandchildren. One son preceded her in death six years ago.
The remains were taken to the Robert Kroos Funeral Home, where they may be viewed by friends and relatives. They will be removed to the late home at 930 Superior Avenue Thursday and services will be bold Friday at 1:30 p.m. from the home and at 2 p.m. from the Trinity Lutheran church, the Rev. C. P. Schulz officiating. Interment will be made in Wildwood cemetery.
